2011 Customer Christmas Party?
Wtih less than a month until our party, we are now asking for all bookings to be confirmed. Tickets are $49.50 and can be paid either in person or over the phone, and need to be received by 18th November so that we can make our final preparations for the evening.
In the store, we are all busy organizing the evening’s prizes and are pleased to boast that this year’s are looking like our best yet! Here is a reminder of the events we have planned for the evening…
Lucky Door Prize!
We are saving our biggest prize for the door this year and everyone will have a chance to win it. More than just a prize draw, this year’s winner will still be chosen at random, with the process a little more fun than just drawing a name out of a hat!
Club Re-Creations!
We know that there is plenty of you who like to re-create the Club Projects and here is your chance to show them off and win some fantastic prizes. Bring in your masterpiece – a project that has used a club technique but has not been made into the actual club project, and our judges will pick their favourite – and don’t panic…we are looking for creativity not perfection!
Entries for this need to be in the store by
27th November, there will be two categories one for Sewing and one for Embroidery Club projects.
Embellish Your Blouses!
Festive-up your favourite blouse or T-shirt with a Christmas theme and wear it on the night to be in the running to win. Decorate it in any way that you like - embroidery, appliques, dyes, fabric paints, buttons…the list is endless but as long as it’s your creation then its your entry!
The winner will be picked on the night.
Best Bag is Back!
Bring your best bag made by you and you could be a winner. Not having to have a Christmas theme, we just want you to show off your handbag creations, and the most creative will win!

Going, Going…Gone!
The high-light of every year’s Christmas Party has been our auction. Using ST&T Auction Dollars collected in October and November, and on the night, you can bid on lots of great sewing stuff to take home. This year we will be adding a new twist for collecting even more auction dollars to spend, and we will have lots more smaller prizes so that everyone gets a chance to have a bid and some fun.
We also have our “how well do you know the ST&T team” competition - lets see how good your guessing skills are this year!
The Christmas celebrations will start at
6pm on Friday 2nd December.
